Andrew George MP Meets Cornwall’s Youth Work Apprentices
Andrew George MP has visited a group of Youth Work apprentices who are undertaking training through a unique new scheme to support Cornwall’s Voluntary and Community sector.
Mr George heard from the apprentices, aged 18 to 24, about their ambitions to become community youth workers and why they chose apprenticeships as a career path.

Additional Apprenticeship Funding Secured to Help Businesses Grow Their Workforce
We are delighted to have received additional funding through the UK Commission for Employment and Skills to help firms take on apprentices and grow their businesses.
The extra £181,000 funding extends the opportunities for businesses to take advantage of the Cornwall Apprenticeship Agency’s (CAA) services.

Best Job in the World for Theatrical Apprentice Kat
A former Cornish drama student has got “possibly the best job in the world” riding her bike round music festivals dressed as a postie delivering poetry.
In one of the first ever creative sector apprenticeships in Cornwall, teenager Kat Kingsley’s theatrical talents have been warmly embraced by creative consultancy WordVoyages.
